Kuching, 9 July 2009 – To meet the needs of increasing Mitsubishi Motors customers and in an effort to provide better customer service, Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia together with authorised dealer Jimisar Autotrade Sdn Bhd today celebrate the official opening of its brand new 3S (Sales, Service and Spare ) centre in Kuching.
The new 3S centre opening also doubled as the official launch for the new Pajero Sport in Sarawak. Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia was represented by chief executive officer Mr Keizo Ono while Jimisar Autotrade was represented by managing director Dato’ Ismail Salleh.
With a total built up spanning over 15,000 square feet and an initial investment of over RM8 million, the impressive 2-storey building features a modern and contemporary design that reflects the Mitsubishi Motors brand identity.
The fully equipped state-of-the-art building will house the sales showroom, discussion area, customer lounge with free Wi-fi connection, meeting rooms, delivery bay, service reception area and a service workshop with five dedicated working bays.
“This latest 3S centre will enable customers to see and experience the complete range of all Mitsubishi vehicles on one site in complete comfort. Together with Jimisar Autotrade, we look forward to high level of sales and after sales service for our customers in this region,” said Mr Keizo Ono, Chief Executive Office of Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia.

As part of its disabled-friendly commitment towards OKU (Orang Kurang Upaya) employment, Jimisar Autotrade has employed two disabled persons to work at the new 3S centre. Exclusive facilities at the new 3S centre are also designed for the disabled.
Jimisar Autotrade’s new Mitsubishi 3S centre is located at Lot 5364, Block 16, KCLD, Jalan Sherif Masahor (opposite Jalan Hup Kee Road), in addition to authorised dealer EON Automart which is located at No 5, 6 & 7 (Grd. Floor), Lot 308, Block 16, Kuching Central Land District (KCLD), Rock Road.
In total, the new 3S centre will bring Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia showrooms to a total of 34 showrooms out of which eight are 3S Centres, and 46 service centers nationwide.
Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia’s current line-up of vehicles include the Mitsubishi Lancer 2.0GT sedan, Grandis MPV, Lancer Evolution sports performance sedan, Triton pick-up truck and the newly launched Pajero Sport SUV. The passenger cars are fully imported from Japan while the Triton and Pajero Sport come from Thailand.
