9th July 2009, PORSCHE CENTRE PENANG – Naza Premier Auto, the authorized dealer for
Porsche Centre Penang greeted its guests from the Porsche Club Singapore (PCS) on
their route down to Thailand. The following drive is an annual event organized by PCS and
this year’s drive is called the “Porsche Andaman Drive 2009”.
A total of 23 Porsches joined the convoy leaving the Republic on the early morning of 9th
of July 2009 making their stopover at Porsche Centre Penang by noon. A total of 32
adults and a kid at the age of 8 joined the drive from Singapore to Thailand. The group
was lead by Mr Eddie Keng, Director of Drive.
A lunch and tour of the facilities were provided by Porsche Centre Penang for its guests,
serving local delights at its best by catering the state’s famous nasi lemak at its outlet.
Some of the members took the opportunity to shared moments of the drive and their
cars with our staff and technicians during their lunch.
At 3pm, the members from PCS prepared for their next part of the journey to Thailand.
Just before leaving Porsche Centre Penang, mementos were exchanged to show the
friendship and commitment to the Porsche lifestyle.
At the time of the writing of this press release, our friends from PCS have arrived back to
the republic safely and they have enjoyed their stayed in Phuket Thailand especially
spending some time for 30 under privilege students from the Karon Temple School
(Watsuwankirikiet) with gifts, games and a ride in a Porsche. We hope to see our
neighbors soon possibly this round a drive from us to Singapore.
